Awards ceremony

The NASW Science-in-Society Awards will be at the Seattle Art Museum the evening of Sat., Feb. l4.

Seattle Science writers’ party

The local-area science writers’ party is scheduled for Sun, Feb. 15.

Dues renewal

Watch the mail for the end-of-the-year mailing containing your dues renewal and sign-up information for the awards presentation and other news of NASW activities.

Authors coalition

NASW has received yet another check (in the amount of $2,403.96) from the Authors Coalition representing non-title-specific, overseas reprographic royalty payments for NASW-member-authored materials. In less than year, NASW has received over $45,000 from the coalition. In order to keep (and increase) this revenue stream, it’s necessary for NASW members to fill out the coalition survey ON AN ANNUAL BASIS.
