NASW ELECTION RESULTS

The election results are in for the 2003-2004 NASW Board. A total of 752 ballots were cast.

Officers are President Deborah Blum, freelance/University of Wisconsin; Vice President Laura van Dam, Houghton Mifflin, Co.; Treasurer Robert Lee Hotz, Los Angeles Times; and Secretary Carol Ezzell, Scientific American.

New to the board are Kathryn Brown, freelance; Glennda Chui, San Jose Mercury News; Marietta DiChristina, Scientific American; Richard Hill, The Oregonian; Nancy Shute, U.S. News & World Report; and Curt Suplee, National Science Foundation.

Returning board members include Beryl Lieff Benderly, freelance; Jon Franklin, University of Maryland; Robin Marantz Henig, freelance; Carol Cruzan Morton, Harvard Medical School; and Tabitha Powledge, freelance.
