Hands-On Science Workshop

Ever wonder what it’s like to cut DNA and run a gel to look at the
pieces? Here’s your chance to get your hands dirty in the lab with the
Long Island Group Advancing Science Education. This workshop will
feature a day of molecular biology experiments interspersed with talks
explaining the research and its relevance to society.

When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be short talks, lab work and question
and answer sessions, with breaks for coffee and lunch.

Where: SUNY Stony Brook, Manhattan location, 110 E. 28th St., New York
NY. 646-472-2000.

Cost: $35, includes workshop and lunch.

include a sentence or two about your background and interests so the
organizers can tailor the workshop to those attending. Payment must be
