The Role of Complementary and Integrative
Medicine in Cancer Treatment:

followed by a special reception for SWINY members from 8 to 9 p.m.

Join other SWINY members at a presentation by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center about their new Integrative Medicine Program. The evening begins with a public lecture from 6 to 8 pm, followed by a private reception for SWINY members from 8 to 9 pm, during which time SWINY members will participate in a Q&A session with Dr. Barrie Cassileth, Chief of MSK's Integrative Medicine Service. Dr. Cassileth is author of The Alternative Medicine Handbook (Norton, $25), which insists that all therapies be validated by randomized controlled studies, reviewed in NEJM.
