Measuring Opinion: The Science of Polling

With the coming elections, opinion polls on the public's preference are fodder for daily news reports. So are polls that report our habits and trends in using medicine and other products. How does the science and math of polls interplay with the art of polling? SWINY and the Gene Media Forum present pollmeister Robert J. Blendon, Sc.D., director of the Harvard University Program on Public Opinion and Health and Social Policy, to discuss these issues.
