Options for Venues
From Beth Schachter:
We can use the New York Academy of Sciences room on the fourth floor for three to four meetings per year.

From Mariette DiChristina: We can use Scientific American's 11th floor conference room as needed. Holds a maximum of 25, but it's free.

From Norman Bauman: We can use the Editorial Freelancers Association office for our meetings, as Sheila Buff explained below. It's a big space with movable chairs, that they can arrange conference-style or auditorium-style. The EFA has had meetings with 60 people (we have 60 chairs). We can order food from anywhere, as long as we clean up afterwards. We have a complete kitchenette. The office is on 28th St. and 6th Ave. (in the Masonic Temple), convenient to transportation. Usual charge is $100, but "maybe we can work something out"
"Judi" is Judi Greenstein petulatwo@juno.com

From Rabiya Tuma: We can use her office on occasion. Holds eight, and may be cozy at that: 72 Madison Ave., 12th Floor
