Event Handout: NASW Tools to Help Automated Editing.v8. 2024-10-09 - Daniel Heuman.pdf (6.5 MB)
The NASW Freelance Committee virtual meetup on Oct. 10 will be a skills chat focused on software that helps improve your writing. To speak on the topic, volunteer event hosts Jennifer Huber and Ellen Kuwana have invited Intelligent Editing’s CEO Daniel Heuman. He’ll demonstrate two editing add-ins, PerfectIt (a text-consistency checker) and Draftsmith (a writing refiner).
This meetup will be useful to writers and editors alike. Come learn how these Microsoft Word add-ins can be customized to specific style guidelines. See a demo to understand how these tools might help you or help someone whose first language is not English.
