This NASW Freelance Committee virtual meetup for August 2023 will focus on another topic of interest to the freelance science writer: establishing and managing your online presence through LinkedIn. To speak on the topic, your NASW member colleagues and volunteer event hosts Jennifer Huber and Ellen Kuwana have invited a social media and marketing consultant, Janet Kennedy. At this SciWriBizChat, Kennedy will explain why all science communication professionals should have a comprehensive LinkedIn presence. She will share tips to optimize your LinkedIn profile, grow your network, expand your content sharing, and handle reputation management.
