International professional membership renewal

$90

If you are experiencing extreme financial hardship and in need, please use this link to access the hardship rate of $55. Residents of low and middle income countries as defined by the World Bank may renew at a special rate of $25.

If your primary mailing address is in the United States, please use the U.S. renewal form instead.

During this 5-10 minute process, you will complete the following steps:

  1. Complete a brief member survey. The answers to these questions are used to help us improve member services and track progress toward goals of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in our professional community.
  2. Complete the Authors Coalition survey — very important for continued funding of membership programs!
  3. Pay dues (credit card or check)

Please have your payment method ready before you begin.

After your renewal is complete, or at any other time, you can update your contact information and member directory listing by logging into the ScienceWriters (www.NASW.org) website, clicking on your username at the top of any page after the word "Welcome," and going to the "edit profile" tab.

You will know that you have successfully completed the process when you see "Thank you for renewing your NASW membership." An email confirmation will also be sent.

When you renew your NASW membership, you can make an additional gift in support of our talented professional and student colleagues. Follow the prompts from the final confirmation screen or your email membership receipt and donate to our NASW Community Travel Fund today.

Renewals before Nov. 1 will extend your membership until the end of the current calendar year. Renewals after Nov. 1 will extend your membership until the end of the next calendar year.

We have waived the late fee this year to offer more flexibility for members. If you are able please consider renewing soon to help us project income for important programming.

If you are renewing a membership that has lapsed, you will need to log out of this site and log in again to restore your membership privileges once you complete the payment.
